Where are you located?

We are conveniently located outside Midland at 6200 W Highway 80, just west of Loop 250.  From Midland, take Loop 250 South to the Highway 80 exit.  Veer right onto the service road and we are approximately  3/4 mile on the right-hand side.  From Odessa, take Highway 80 east, we are on the north side of the the highway, on the service road.  Look for our marquee!

What are your ticket prices?

Tickets are $10 for ages 12 and up and $8 for ages 6 to 11.  Children 5 and under are free!

When are you open?

We are open Friday through Sunday playing double feature's on all three screens every night.  Our box office and concession open at 6:00 P.M. so be sure to come early.

What is your rain check policy?

We only offer rain checks if the weather prevents us from continuing to show the movie.  Otherwise our screens are quite visible through rain.

Do you accept debit cards, credit cards, or checks?

We gladly accept cash, VISA/MasterCard, Discover and debit cards with the VISA/MasterCard logo.  We do not accept checks.

Do you offer Gift Certificates?

Yes, gift certificates can be purchased at the box office or in the concession.  They come as an attractive card and you can apply any amount you wish.  They can be used at the box office to purchase tickets or in the snack bar.  You can keep the card and reload it as often as you wish.

We have a large group coming.  Can we reserve parking?

Unfortunately, we cannot reserve parking.  We suggest arriving at the box office when we open to ensure you get spaces together.

Can I bring my RV/Camper/Church bus etc?

Yes you can bring any large vehicle to the drive-in.  We do ask that you park in the back row so as to not obstruct the view of others.

Can I sit outside my car in lawn chairs?

You are welcome to sit anywhere outside your vehicle, in lawn chairs or on blankets.  We do ask that you place lawn chairs in front of your car so that you do not take up additional parking.  For  safety and courtesy of others, we cannot allow you to sit on top of your vehicle.

Can I turn my SUV/Van/Truck around and open the hatch?

We want you to be as comfortable as you can while you watch your movies, so feel free to turn your vehicle around.  Please be sure that your dome lights are turned off so not to bother other movie-goers and that your hatch does not obstruct the view of those behind you.  If it does we will have to ask you to lower it to the roof height of your vehicle.

Can I switch screens during intermission?  Watch two movies on two different screens?

Sorry, but we cannot allow screen changing.  We are bound by licensing agreements with the film companies and your ticket provides you with admission to one double-feature on one screen only.  You are more than welcome to purchase an additional ticket to the other screen before the movies start or during intermission.

Do I have to stay for both movies? Can I arrive later for the second movie?

Please feel free to arrive and leave at any time.  Our box office remains open until approximately 15 minutes after the latest starting second feature.  If you arrive for your movie after it has started, we do ask that you turn off your headlights so as not to bother the other patrons.  The ticket prices are the same if you stay for both movies or only wish to see one.

How will I hear the movies?

We broadcast sound through our own FM frequencies.  We do not have stand-alone speakers so you will need to have a working car radio, walkman, or boom box.  Screen One's frequency is 95.3 FM and Screen Two is 97.3 FM,  Screen Three is 94.7 FM.

Can I bring in my own food, snacks, and drinks?

We do allow outside food, however we have a full service grill/concession.  We offer everything from chicken finger dinners to Charburgers.  Be sure to try out our specialty sandwich the Chihuahua.  We also have other goodies like jalapeno poppers, funnel cakes and homemade corn fritters.  And of course we have the standard theatre fare like popcorn and a wide variety of candy.  Click here to see our menu.

Can I cook out or grill outside?

Sorry, for safety reasons we cannot allow any open flames, fires or grills.

Can I bring my pets?

Yes!  Here at Big Sky we always welcome the furry members of your family.  We do ask that they are kept on a leash while outside your vehicle.  Pets are not allowed inside the concession.

What if my car battery dies during the movie?

If your battery dies and you are unable to restart your car, please give us a call at 432-219-6120 or come to the Concession stand and speak with any employee.  We have portable battery chargers for your assistance.  Someone will be available throughout the duration of both movies.

Do you offer birthday/party packages?

We do not offer birthday party packages.  But we would be happy to announce the Birthday Girl/Boy name and age and any other special message.  We will also ask for a "round of honks" to commemorate the occasion.
